All-Church Prayer

Join us as we come together in prayer to seek the heart of God every last Sunday of the month.

Oasis Food Pantry

Every third & fifth Thursday of the month is Main Street Church's turn to serve at the Oasis Food Pantry in St. Charles! Join other volunteers at the Oasis Food Pantry location to help distribute groceries to those in need.

Chili Cook-off!

MSC will be hosting a church-wide Chili Cook-Off event on Friday, October 25 at 6:30pm!

Here's how you can help:

1) Sign up to make chili and enter the contest! Each chili entry needs to feed a minimum of 15 people. Each chili maker must be at the church by 6:15 pm to set up their crockpot/chili for presentation & judging.

2) For those of you non-chili makers interested in attending and supporting the event, sign up to bring a chili fixin, cornbread, dessert, drinks, ice, and/or a yard game (from home or check out the selection at your local library).Click here to sign up with what you‘re going to bring!

We welcome Joy Steorts from Memphis, TN as our guest speaker!

Joy Steorts was born and raised in St. Louis, earned her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Memphis after her BFA in Dance. Joy has worked in both clinical and hospital settings and currently directs social work for a floor of a major hospital. Her experience includes working with adults with addiction and mental health issues as well as spiritual direction and mentorship. Joy has served in leadership roles in churches and in her community in Memphis, along with her husband Ken. Joy and Ken have a heart for community and offer hospitality to others regularly. She always has music in her life, living with three musicians - Ken and their two adult sons. Joy believes life is a daily adventure with God, that every Christian can hear God's voice, and their truest identity is “Beloved”. •

Holy Smokes Bar-B-Que

Main Street Church and Dayspring Church are joining together again this fall for a Holy Smokes BBQ on Sunday, October 7 | 10:30am at Blanchette Park, Shelter #3 (we will not be meeting at the church building on that Sunday due to Oktoberfest). Following a short service by one of our pastors, we will enjoy a meal together. 

We are asking everyone to sign up to bring one or two food or drink items from the list to share. Main Street Church will provide the main course: smoked meats by few selected smokers from the church! Bring your own chair!

Who is it for?  Parents, Grandparents, and those who desire to be parents

What should I expect? A delicious (free!) dinner and a stimulating discussion around the table with like-minded people in a warm atmosphere

Will there be childcare? Yes! A donation of $5 per child is suggested
